Jessica Cox

Hello, I’m Jessica Cox, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. I have been working in the mental health field since 2005, supporting adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also hold certification as a Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), which provides specialized training in helping individuals recover from narcissistic and antagonistic relationship dynamics while rebuilding self-trust and emotional stability.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Johnson University and my Master’s degree from Cincinnati Christian University. Over time, my work has centered around creating a therapeutic space that feels steady, respectful, and human—where clients can lower their guard without feeling rushed or judged.

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real conversation. Therapy often includes a blend of emotional processing, reflection, practical coping strategies, and insight-oriented work. I believe meaningful change happens when we can both understand our experiences and begin responding to them in new ways.

Outside of the office, I enjoy time with family and friends, reading, and spending time outdoors with a camera in my hand—paying attention to small details and quiet moments that often go unnoticed. That practice of observation and presence is something I also bring into my clinical work.

I offer individual therapy for adults in person in Knoxville and via secure telehealth throughout Tennessee
