This is Stevie, an English Cream Golden Retriever. Stevie is a therapy dog in training. Research suggests that the presence of a therapy dog can aid in reducing anxieties related to counseling. For those who are comfortable Stevie can be a calming presence in our sessions. For those with allergies or those who are uncomfortable with a dog, Stevie does not participate.
